Despite what you may have thought, or been taught, your ability to learn depends on your ability to make mistakes. It turns out, learning depends less on your ability to get things right, and more on your willingness to keep making mistakes. KhanAcademy.org is creating a paradigm shift in education that will benefit students all around the world.
When we are free to do wrong, those wrongs make us right. It is a strange and interesting world we live in, where stumbles and falls teach us to walk. It is the contrast of our experience that gives rise to understanding. In the midst of darkness and obscurity, the spark of knowledge shines brightly.
We put thirty spokes together and call it a wheel;
But it is on the space where there is nothing that the usefulness of the wheel depends.We turn clay to make a vessel;
But it is on the space where there is nothing that the usefulness of the vessel depends.
We pierce doors and windows to make a house;
And it is on these spaces where there is nothing that the usefulness of the house depends.
